The Air Force Falcons beat the Army Black Knights 42-28 on Saturday, ending a seven-game losing streak that started back with a 52-20 loss to Utah State on Sept. 7. Although Army was able to gain 417 total yards and 308 yards on the ground against the Falcons, the Black Knights were unable to match the great performance of Air Force running back Anthony LaCoste.

LaCoste, a senior originally from Albany*, Oregon (hell yeah Oregonians!), tallied a ridiculous 263 yards against the Army defense and averaged a whopping 11.4 yards per carry. He score three touchdowns on the day, including a 73-yard scamper in the first quarter and 78-yard dash in the third. To put those numbers in perspective, LaCoste had only gained 165 yards from 2010-2012 for the Falcons.

The Air Force Falcons are now 2-7 on the year. The Army Black Knights are slightly better at 3-6.

*(Rebels > Bulldogs, though.)
