Denver Broncos head coach John Fox had a health scare on Saturday afternoon and was taken to a Charlotte area hospital after experiencing dizziness. There were initially reports that Fox was having chest pains and there was fear of a heart attack, but those reports were false.

However, Fox is still undergoing medical observation in the hospital and he will be held overnight.

From Mike Klis of the Denver Post:

The Denver Broncos are currently on a bye week, so the health scare should not affect Fox’s availability on the sideline for the team’s next game in Week 10.

Fox is reportedly in good spirits and the Broncos believe the issue is not serious, so he should be able to return to work sooner rather than later.

Let’s hope that the news continues to be positive for Fox, who is one of the better guys you will meet in the NFL.
