When you’re David Ortiz, you can do no wrong in Boston, even if it includes rapping a poorly tuned verse of a Jay Z song as you stroll by during the World Series Championship parade.

As Ortiz and fellow members of the Boston Red Sox drove by the masses of faithful, Big Papi grabbed the microphone and started ripping off a few lines from the Jay Z/Rick Ross inspired track ‘%@#$‘, though unlike Ortiz’s previous public speaking engagements – he kept this one kid friendly.

Ortiz and his teammates were dancing on the back of the flatbed when Papi became inspired to start informing the crowd ‘you know I got it’, which is from the hook of the Jay Z song. That’s about the full extent of what Ortiz got out before he passed by, though, it was plenty enough to send the crowd into a frenzy.
