The Penn State Nittany Lions need all the confidence back that they can gain this week after getting crushed on the road last week against the Ohio State Buckeyes. It was a huge wake-up call after they had just shocked to Michigan Wolverines two weeks prior.
They set out to rebound this week against the Illinois Fighting Illini, but that’s not currently working out in their favor, as they’re now done 17-14 with time winding down in the fourth quarter.
With such a tight game, you’d expect all of the stops to be pulled out and that’s exactly what Penn State did on one fourth down situation.
Backed up, the Nittany Lions were forced to punt. As punter Alex Butterworth took the snap, he had to hurry to get the kick off with the pressure coming heavy off the edge.
