In just a little over a half hour from now, the Florida State Seminoles and the Miami Hurricanes will take the field for their much-anticipated top-10 showdown inside Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.

As everyone has spoken of all week, this is the way that this rivalry is supposed to be, with both teams in the national conversation. The game is being played in primetime on ABC and will have the eyes of everyone in the country locked on it.

Also, a game of this magnitude brings out many others around the sports world as well, it’s so intriguing. Like, much embattled New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, for example:

In case you’re wondering why he’s decked out in Hurricanes gear, before embarking on his Major League journey, Rodriguez has claimed in the past that he would have attended the school had he chosen a collegiate baseball career.

He’s also donated money to the school’s athletic department and frequently works out at the facilities.

Nothing like taking in a great college football match up to take your mind off some steroid allegations.
