The 6-2 South Carolina Gamecocks will welcome in the 4-3 Mississippi State Bulldogs into Columbia for an important SEC match up today.

South Carolina gained a lot of confidence back last week when they were able to battle back from a 17-0 deficit to beat the previously unbeaten Missouri Tigers in double overtime, behind the heroic efforts of a banged up Connor Shaw at QB. The win kept the Gamecocks alive for just a little bit longer in the SEC East race.

Mississippi State enters the game on a two-game winning streak. They’ve just barely survived those last two games, though, including a six-point victory over the Kentucky Wildcats last week and a one-point win over Bowling Green two weeks ago. Head coach Dan Mullen has a chance to put a huge victory on his resume today and maybe quiet some of those that have him on the hot seat.

Here’s all of the info you need to take in today’s SEC contest:

Date: Nov. 2

Start Time: 12:21pm ET

Location: Columbia, SC

Stadium: Williams-Brice Stadium

TV Info: ESPN3

Live Stream: WatchESPN app
