QB Braxton Miller and the Ohio State Buckeyes are out to make some statements here at the end of the year. Aside from needing help in front of them to make a possible BCS Championship Game appearance, they also need to help themselves, mainly by crushing their remaining opponents and displaying their superiority.
They got off to a great start with that last week when they routed Penn State on national television and everyone knew they’d have no problem keeping that up today against Purdue. So far, we were all right as the Buckeyes lead Purdue 35-0 in the second quarter.
Much of that huge lead, once again, is due to the stellar play of their dynamic QB, Miller. He can pretty much do anything you ask him to, and is a big reason why the Buckeyes are so dominant.
But, that doesn’t mean he always needs to make it look pretty.
Already up 21-0 and deep into Purdue territory, Miller rolled to his left and wasn’t sure if he wanted to run it in himself or pass it. As he found himself closer to the sideline, he decided to just flick it into the end zone to Philly Brown:
