Before this season got underway, the TCU Horned Frogs were the favorite among many to ultimately win the Big 12 Conference. Much of that was due in large part to the fact that their starting quarterback, Casey Pachall, would be returning after missing the majority of last year while dealing with substance abuse issues.
Well, after being injured earlier in the season, Pachall hasn’t played all that much this year again and the Horned Frogs have been struggling their way through 2013.
Today, they look to turn around their fortunes just a little bit when they take on another Big 12 disappointment, the West Virginia Mountaineers.
TCU and Pachall are definitely well on their way to making something go in their favor today. Early on in the contest, Pachall fired off his first touchdown pass of the season to Josh Doctson, a 10-yard strike, to give his team the 10-3 lead.
