So, I guess even with all the Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito drama surrounding the Miami Dolphins, they still had time to make some roster moves.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Dolphins have signed recently-released wide receiver Marlon Moore, who had played for the San Francisco 49ers. In a corresponding move, the Dolphins waived wide receiver Ryan Spadola to make room for Moore on the 53-man roster.
The 26-year-old Moore was no longer needed by the 49ers, who activated receiver Mario Manningham today from the physically unable to perform list. He had a total of one reception for six yards in six games played this season.
Spadola, 22, has no career stats.
The move to add Moore over Spadola is likely one of familiarity. Moore had spend his first three NFL seasons with the Dolphins before being signed the 49ers. He is primarily a special teamer, but with 250 yards and two touchdowns receiving for his career with very limited snaps, he can be a decent fill-in if necessary.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins have suspended guard Richie Incognito and will likely release him, just in case you missed it.
