Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph injured his foot while on a touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday that could sideline him for a significant amount of time.

Rudolph caught a pass in the third quarter and powered his way into the end zone, but it appeared he injured himself on the play and did not return.

He entered the game with 28 catches for 278 yards and has two catches for 35 yards on Sunday against Dallas. He led the team last season with nine touchdowns.

The Vikings backup tight end is veteran John Carlson, who has two catches for five yards on Sunday and seven catches for 38 yards on the season.
