Former NBA coach Phil Jackson has been known to create a controversy or two with his words, though, the 13-time NBA Champion recently sat down for a candid interview where he expressed concern for former player, Lamar Odom.

Jackson, who coached Odom for a handful of seasons in Los Angeles not only suggested that the team would constantly need to ‘check-in’ on Odom during the offseason to make sure everything in his life was going smoothly, but also said he felt that marrying a Kardashian wasn’t a good move for his well being.

Jackson hinted that at first, he thought an organized family structure would help Odom grow and mature but now second guesses his view.

The former Lakers head coach also dropped a few more details about Odom’s situation, expressing great concern over his life structure though did admit that things are looking better for the former Rhode Island star.
