After a heart-breaking loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, the Florida Gators, who were once ranked in the top-10 of major college football polls, could now find itself on the outside looking in when the 2013-14 college football bowl schedule is announced.

Following Saturday’s 23-20 loss to Georgia that dropped them to 4-4 on the year, the Gators finally stopped talking about their long-shot SEC Championship game aspirations, and are now just trying to gut out two wins to become bowl eligible.

“You rally around the fact that your play at the University of Florida,” Head Coach Will Muschamp said. “It’s a great place to play football. You have a very close locker room, and guys play for each other. That’s a lot for those guys. They understand that. It’s frustrating and they’re down and they hurt, but at the end of the day guys got a lot of pride and they’re competitors. They’re going to go out and compete, and they’re going to play well.”
