What the hell is with this, David Shaw?

Are you kidding me? As the head coach of a top-five football team, are you seriously not going to spend the last few days before what will likely be your team’s biggest game of the season arguing about a meaningless comment by an opposing player? Are you not going to be horribly offended at how De’Anthony Thomas said his Oregon Ducks could score 40 on your stingy defense? How dare you not buy into Bulletin Board Material Culture! The 24-hour sports “news” cycle requires indignation and overreaction, dammit!

Oh, and for those of you who care about silly things like the actual game on Thursday, coverage of Oregon vs. Stanford will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. PT on ESPN.
