Because of that, many aren’t aware of Garcia’s toughness though Chris Paul may have found out during the Clippers contest with Garcia and the Houston Rockets on Monday night.
As Garcia was bringing the ball up the court, Paul trailed him and attempted to punch the ball out from behind. Paul’s also known around the league to be a bit happy around the ‘man zone’, which apparently didn’t sit well with the excitable Dominican who turned around and gave Paul a death stare he’s not likely to forget after a foul was called.
The referees didn’t appreciate the glare as much as the Rockets and Garcia though as they nailed the swingman for a technical foul.
Nothing more came of the play, though, considering the chippy play and blowout, I’m sure this won’t be the last dust-up we see between the Clippers and Rockets this season.
