Florida State Seminoles star quarterback Jameis Winston has been the talk of the nation thanks to his incredible play on the field, but also because of his poor eyesight that causes him to strain his eyes in order to see plays being called in from the sidelines.

The squinting habit has earned Winston the nickname, “Jameis Squinston”on Twitter, but it looks like that moniker will soon have to be dropped.

An image surfaced online that showed Winston posing outside of Orsillo Vision Care & Optical, dubbed Tallahassee’s Best Vision Care Center, as he prepared to get fitted for Ortho-K contacts to help out with the squinting situation.

Here is the image:

Winston is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation already, so defenders better be scared now that he will be able to see.

Of course, this could just be the vision care center having some fun with the hot topic, but the national attention may have caused Winston and Florida State to look for options that allow Winston to see better on the field — maybe it was those two interceptions against Miami.
