The LSU Tigers are going to need every great player on the field that they can get on Saturday against Alabama if they want to beat the Tide at home again like in 2011.
They’ll have one of those great players on the field Saturday as safety Craig Loston will be on the field in Bryant-Denny Stadium this weekend when the Tigers look to dash the Tide’s national title hopes, after missing three of LSU’s last seven games:
“The good news is you will see Craig Loston back in the center of the secondary,” LSU coach Les Miles said, according to nola.com.
Loston will provide a huge boost for the LSU secondary against Alabama’s offensive attack, especially against the run. The senior is considered one of the top NFL draft prospects at his position and that’s due in large part to how effective he is in stopping the run. As has become commonplace among LSU defensive backs under Les Miles, Loston is in no way afraid to come up and make the big hit.
So, put Alabama running backs Kenyan Drake and T.J. Yeldon on notice. Loston is coming and he’s ready to hit.
