While the Alabama Crimson Tide are currently atop every major college football poll, there’s still a lot of work to be done before the bowl matchups are announced and the Tide are once again defending their national championship. Their biggest test of the season may come this weekend as they host the No. 13 LSU Tigers in a SEC West rivalry game that seems to always come down to the wire.
The Oregon Ducks, ranked No. 2 by nearly every major poll and the current favorite to face Bama in the BCS Championship game, hits the road this week to face the No. 5 Stanford Cardinal in a top-5 clash that could determien if Oregon makes it to Pasadena to play in the Rose Bowl for the BCS title.
