Cleveland Browns wide receiver Greg Little was penalized for ripping the helmet off of Baltimore Ravens’ James Ihedigbo. Little explained that he ripped his helmet off because Ihedigbo was choking him at the bottom of a pile following a play.

“I know the ref was saying ‘let go of his face mask,’ but he was choking me, so I’m not (going to let go),” said Little, according to The Plain Dealer. “There’s a thin line between football and just morals and I’m not going to let a guy spit in my face, choke me, (disrespect) my family or anything like that. It’s just how it is.”

“You’re not going to let a guy have (his) way with your kids or your family or your wife. It’s just how it is.”

“I don’t have to say anything to the ref. At that point, (Ihedigbo’s) crossed the line.”

Video evidence, shown in the photo below shows that Little was indeed being choked by Ihedigbo. The Plain Dealer has a different angle that shows it clearly as well.

This is the second time there has been some foul play between the Ravens and Browns this year. Earlier, Browns defensive lineman Phil Taylor hit Ravens running back Ray Rice on the field after he allegedly spit in his face.

Little doesn’t regret his actions, even if it cause the team 15 yards.

“Ask Phil (Taylor) if Ray Rice spit in his face again what would he do, is he going to pat him on the back?”
