Any undefeated team is fancies themselves a contender for the BCS National Championship game, presumably against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The No. 1 team in the BCS Standings is assumed to be a lock for the game and everyone else is competing for second.

There are plenty of worthy teams and some of their fans have held up signs that read “We Want Bama.” Florida State of the ACC is undefeated and in second currently. The Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 are undefeated and looking to play for a title. The Big 10′s Ohio State Buckeyes are also undefeated and so is the Big 12′s Baylor Bears.

All have a case for playing Alabama in the BCS National Championship game.

So it was interesting that one Ball State Cardinals fan chose to bring a “We Want Bama” sign to a game. They’re currently 9-1, yeah they lost a game and to North Texas who are 6-3 this season. Even funnier, is that they brought the sign to a game against Central Michigan, hardly a formidable opponent. They should’ve at least waited till next week when they play Northern Illinois who are at least ranked in the Top 25.
