Tonight marks one of the biggest games of the college football stadium with the Oregon Ducks taking on the Stanford Cardinal in a Pac-12 match up that has BCS title implications, but there will also be plenty on the line for Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota.

As Mariota continues to perform at a high level, NFL draft scouts and personnel are taking notice and plan to show up in large forces for tonight’s game.

Mariota is already believed by many to be a top draft prospect in the 2014 NFL draft, but if he continues to perform he could even end up as the No. 1 overall pick when the league’s worst team is on the clock.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Mariota is a dual-threat quarterback with a better arm than Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, so if he decides to declare for the draft it should be no surprise if he is a top pick.

However, until then, he will need to keep up performing and put up his super human numbers to continue attracting the attention of the NFL scouts and general managers.

Do you think Mariota should be a top pick in the 2014 NFL Draft if he declares for the draft? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts.
