Line (Via Bovada): Oregon by 10.5

Prediction: The Oregon offense got a boost from De’Anthony Thomas’ return last week to the lineup. Marcus Mariota is fighting long distance with Jameis Winston for the Heisman Trophy, in what looks to be a two-horse race. The Ducks are really good… dah, dah, dah. We all know that stuff.

Not a whole lot of people are talking about Stanford at this point. Don’t get it twisted, I’m not really about to say much about them either, but recent history dictates that this is the exact type of setting where the Cardinal thrive. Sleeping on them usually proves to be a mistake, but they are not quite the team offensively that they were in the Luck days that can sustain itself in a high scoring affair against a highly athletic Duck defense.

Still, I think this game plays out very similar to the Washington game for Stanford earlier in the season, except Oregon is better equipped to handle some early Stanford fireworks.

Oregon 40, Stanford 24
