Alabama fans edit Oregon’s ‘We Want Bama’ t-shirts (Photo)

Prior to last night’s loss to the Stanford Cardinal, the Oregon Ducks were considered one of the top opponents for the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. As the Ducks were a big player in the national title picture, shirts surfaced for their fans with the chant, “We want Bama” across the chest.

Unfortunately, the Ducks are now out of the title picture and they have to deal with the jokes now flying their way.

One of the jokes throws their “We want Bama” t-shirts right back in their face.

Birmingham radio personality Jim Dunaway shared a photo that shows an updated version of the t-shirt, which Ducks fans may not find too funny.

Here is the result:

This is a classic case of be careful what you wish for.

If the Ducks offense was grounded by Stanford, they could have very well faced the same result against Alabama.

Of course, Alabama has to take on the rival LSU Tigers on Saturday afternoon, so they better not get too excited just yet or they could join Oregon in the “we should have been there” club.
