To say that the Philadelphia 76ers don’t like former center Andrew Bynum very much may be an understatement. After missing an entire season with knee injuries, he contributed virtually nothing to the organization. When he came over in the Andre Iguodala-Denver Nuggets trade, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong–including Bynum suffering one of those knee injuries while bowling.

Yeah, not the sort of dedication that Philadelphia sports fans demand from their athletes, in any sport.

So, it was more than intriguing, to say the least, when Bynum returned to Philly tonight as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With about two minutes left in the first quarter, Bynum would make his first appearance of the night off the bench and he got the warm reception that we all knew he would:

Yes, in case you were wondering, those were “Let’s go bowling!” chants. No matter what, you can always count on the Philadelphia fans to entertain us, even more so sometimes than the athletes themselves on the court.
