Anthony Davis' huge dunk against the Lakers (Video)

Anthony Davis was on my list of players that will have a breakout year, and he’s making me look smart. Davis is averaging 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals a game. He had 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks in a win against the Lakers on Friday night. He had issues in pick and roll situations last season, and he battled a lot of injuries. It seems as if he is maturing well, and he could be a Kevin Garnett-type player down the road. He is long, and his defense can anchor a team.

The Pelicans have a shot at the playoffs this season, and Davis is a big reason why. During the game on Friday, Davis took the ball and dunked through all of the Lakers “defense.” The Lakers did play them tough, but Davis and the Pelicans came out on top.
