Report: Dolphins' Richie Incognito feels he was 'betrayed' by Jonathan Martin

Aside from being caught outside a doctor’s office by a local news team earlier this week, we really haven’t heard much from Richie Incognito since his indefinite suspension from the Miami Dolphins following bullying accusations by teammate Jonathan Martin.

But, according to an ESPN report, we know a little bit about how Incognito feels about the whole situation from a source that spoke to them:

“It’s probably a combination of totally blindsided and a bit betrayed,” the source said of Incognito’s current state. “He’s shocked. He can’t believe this happened and thinks it probably could have been avoided.”

That same report also goes on to say that he thought of himself as almost a “big brother” figure to Martin, a sentiment that we also heard this week from Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill as well as a few other Miami team members.

Apparently, he thought that his actions toward Martin were just a display of tough love that may have been blown a bit out of proportion.

Whatever the case is, this can of worms just keeps opening up wider and wider as each day passes.
