After an impressive performance at UFC Fight Night 31: Fight For The Troops 3, UFC women’s bantamweight contender Alexis Davis has shot up three spots in the latest UFC rankings. Davis was able to edge former title contender Liz Carmouche in the co-main event and the boost in the rankings is well deserved.

While Davis climbed three spots, Carmouche fell three spots to No. 7.

Here is how the top ten in the UFC women’s bantamweight division currently looks:

Champion : Ronda Rousey
1 Cat Zingano
2 Miesha Tate
3 Alexis Davis

3

4 Sara McMann

1

5 Sarah Kaufman
6 Jessica Eye

1

7 Liz Carmouche

3

8 Amanda Nunes
9 Germaine de Randamie
10 Jessica Andrade

If the champ, Ronda Rousey, is able to dispose of Miesha Tate in their fight at UFC 168, Davis could jump up yet another spot to No. 2 and have a title shot in her sights.

The other fighter to benefit from their performance at Fight For The Troops 3 was Tim Kennedy, who earned a first-round knockout win over Rafael Natal in the main event. Kennedy was previously unranked in the middleweight division, but he has finally cracked the top ten.
