When you talk about the Big Ten, all anyone ever wants to discuss is either Ohio State, Michigan or–well, actually, they generally only want to discuss Ohio State and Michigan nine times out of 10.
But, after today, everyone better start discussing the success of the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2013, as well as what they’ve had to overcome to get where they are.
With the win over Penn State earlier today, the Gophers moved to 8-2 on the season and have won four games in a row over some pretty good competition in the conference.
They’ve done all of this without their head coach, who is dealing with epileptic seizures he’s been suffering. They’re playing with pure emotion right now, and that’s showing on the field.
But, for as much as the emotion is visible on the field, it’s equally as visible after the game–and a little funnier as well.
After the win today, the players and coached gathered in the locker room and proceeded to all just have themselves a party and show off some dance moves.
You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone that doesn’t enjoy watching this team do what they’ve been doing lately.
