Florida College freshman Anthony Allen had the play of the night in their 71-64 win over Warner University. Florida College got a turn over and were heading down the court on a fast break. His teammate went for a lay-up but missed.

Allen was coming down the court ready for the rebound and put back dunk. When he slammed it home he grabbed the rim but the rim ripped off the backboard. He was clearly expecting it to remain attached and hang from it a bit but instead fell flat on his back.

It didn’t break the glass, it just disconnected at the hinge it looks like. It was in the final minute of the game, with a bout 47.4 seconds left in the game. It took them nearly 15-minutes to fix the rim and resume the game.

Nevertheless its an exciting play and he has something to brag about for years to come. I bet he has this video bookmarked on YouTube to show girls on his cell phone at bars.
