Given how 2013 has gone so far for the Florida Gators, it’s fairly safe to say that they will not be returning to a BCS game when this season is all said and done in a few weeks.

Now, a good portion of that 4-4 record can certainly be attributed to a rash of injuries that the team has suffered on both sides of the ball to some key players.

Still, though, to a fan base who has enjoyed a lot of success recently, including two national championships on 2006 and 2008, any sort of mediocrity is intolerable on many levels.

There have been questions as to whether not head coach Will Muschamp should even return nest season.

Indeed, the Gators’ faithful are not happy whatsoever and they showed that earlier today before kickoff, by not really showing up at all:

It’s been a long time since I can remember the Swamp being that empty, but clearly the fans are trying to send a message about how they feel about this season.

Not sure when that was taken, but the stands filled up much more when the game started – its an early game and people were tail-gating.

Yeah, that pic was taken pre-game. It was a noon start, homecoming, night after Gator Growl, and those east stands you’re looking at are the seats belonging to students who are still hung over at this point. Was it a sellout? Not in the least. But let’s have a little honesty here.
