After a huge emotional win last week against the rival Florida Gators in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, the Georgia Bulldogs will take a bit of a breather this week when they welcome in Appalachian State into Athens for an out-of-conference game early today.

No matter how much of a breather game it may be, though, stud running back Todd Gurley is dressed and will be in the lineup for the Dawgs.

After missing three games battling an ankle injury, Gurley returned last weekend and helped Georgia overcome a second-half surge by the Gators.

He also showed how brutal the game can be, when he was part of a huge scrum that erupted in the fourth quarter after a UF player attempted to gouge his eyes out.

I don’t think that anyone on the Appalachian State team will be courageous–or stupid–enough to try anything similar, so this should be an easy one to help Gurley get back into the swing of things as the season winds down here.
