LSU vs. Alabama: Bad snap for LSU causes turnover (GIF)

The SEC battle between the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide has already gotten underway, and it is a battle at that so far as the Tide currently hold a slim 3-0 lead in the first quarter.

But, if anything, the game has been sloppily played so far, especially on LSU’s side of the ball.

First, running back Jeremy Hill fumbled while trying to get in for a touchdown, a fumble which was recovered by Alabama. That turnover wasn’t turned into points.

However, LSU’s second turnover unfortunately did translate into some points for ‘Bama.

Late in the second quarter, with the Tigers driving, QB Zach Mettenberger and his center had a bit of a communication error with the snap count, which resulted in this :



That fumble was also recovered by Alabama, only this time they were able to get a field goal shortly after and grab a 3-0 lead.

The first quarter has just come to a close with Alabama still holding on to that three-point deficit in this pivotal showdown.
