The Ole Miss Rebels played the Arkansas Razorbacks earlier today, winning the game 34-24. What was a 20-17 lead quickly shifted late in the third quarter, when Rebels’ quarterback Bo Wallace took over with his arm. Thanks to GifdSports we have a quick look at both of these throws.
First it was Wallace to James Logan for 75 yards on the go route:
Then Ole Miss quickly got the ball back and threw an innocent seven yard hitch route… or so it looked, until Donte Moncrief broke the tackle.
With the win, Ole Miss became bowl eligible at 6-3 and evened their SEC record to 3-3. After huge expectations were knocked down early with some tough losses, they are suddenly making a bit of a move.
Arkansas meanwhile fell to 3-7 (0-6) in the first season for Brett Bielema. It has been an incredibly difficult first season for Bielema and the Hogs, he was hired to turn it around at Arkansas, but has had a rude welcoming.
I’m guessing that Bielema is rethinking his decision right about now, but he is stuck now. The Razorbacks sure have a long ways to go.
