Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee out for rest of game vs. Saints
By Jack Crosby
Unquestionably, probably the most impressive piece of the entire Dallas Cowboys football unit this season has been linebacker Sean Lee. The Penn State product has been the leader of the defense and has caused massive issues for opposing offensed with his versatility.
But, they’ll have to go the rest of the way in tonight’s game against the Saints without him.
On the NBC broadcast, sideline reporter Michele Tafoya announced that the stud linebacker will not return to the game after suffering a hamstring injury. He was taken out earlier in the game, was evaluated by doctors and then was told by the coaching staff to take his helmet off as his action for this evening is over.
This is a huge loss especially in this game in particular. One of Lee’s attributes that makes him so valuable is his pass coverage. He has numerous interceptions. He already has four on the year to go along with his 90 tackles.
Currently, the Saints lead the Cowboys 14-10 late in the second quarter.
