The New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys are battling it out this week on Sunday Night Football inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
New Orleans has turned into them old selves this season with the return of head coach Sean Payton, after a lackluster year in 2012.
They’ve definitely looked the part this season, and they also did late in the first quarter against the Cowboys tonight when Drew Brees hooked up with Marques Colston for the Saints’ first touchdown of the game.
Brees and the offense had 80-yards to go in the drive, and they did just that, following a Cowboys field goal. The drive culminated in this 22-yard score from Brees to Colston, with the talented wideout fighting his way to the end zone:
The Cowboys can’t afford to let that happen too many times the rest of the game, as they’re fighting to stay above .500 on the year, and their competition in the NFC East is rapidly improving.
However, we all know that’s a little easier said than done when it comes to dealing with the Saints offense.
