Some are calling this Kentucky Wildcats freshman class maybe the greatest in the history of college basketball. They’re led by McDonald’s All-American forward, Julius Randle.

After a pretty good performance in his first outing on Friday night, the first-year Kentucky star is on his way to yet another dominant performance as he currently has registered a double-double against Northern Kentucky–in the first half.

As expert Jay Bilas points out, not matter who it’s against, that’s an impressive feat:

Through the first 20 minutes of play, Randle has 11 points and 10 rebounds, while also adding in three assists. He’s hit three of his four attempts from the field and is 5-of-7 from the free throw line.

Kentucky, the number one team in the nation, is currently enjoying a comfortable lead as the second half has just gotten underway, 50-28. If Randle keeps progressing like this throughout the season, this team will be tough to stop.
