Nick Foles is getting the start for the Philadelphia Eagles this week against the Green Bay Packers, as Michael Vick continues to recover from injury. Vick will not be dressing for today’s game, and he recently said that he is still a couple of weeks away from returning to the field.

From Albert Breer of the NFL Network:

Unfortunately for Vick, there is a good chance that he will not have a starting job when he returns.

Foles has been playing lights out during his time as the team’s starter, and last week’s seven touchdown performance certainly helped his standing in the locker room.

If Foles can continue to produce and lead the Eagles to wins in the next few weeks against the Packers , Washington Redskins and Arizona Cardinals while Vick is recovering, the Eagles will have no reason to turn back to their former starter.
