The Northern Kentucky Norse enter their second season of competing at the NCAA Division I level, and they face a tough task in going into Rupp Arena to play the No. Kentucky Wildcats. They’re coming off a buzzer-beating loss at Purdue by a 77-76 score on Friday. The Norse went 11-16 overall last season and finished 9-9 in Atlantic Sun Conference play.

Meanwhile, UK is coming off of a 89-57 win over UNC Asheville on Friday night. Freshman forward Julius Randle scored 15 of his 23 points in the second half to lead five Kentucky players in double figures and help the top-ranked Cats get their first win of the season.
