Florida's Tyler Murphy, Marcus Roberson to miss practice

The Florida Gators got more bad news on Monday when the school announced that starting linebacker Antonio Morrison will be out for the rest of the season.

The Gators also could be without two other starters when they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday night. Quarterback Tyler Murphy and cornerback Marcus Roberson will both miss at least two days of practice this week.

“You just gotta coach through it,” Gators’ head coach Will Muschamp told Jeff Barlis of ESPN.com. “We’ve just got to find ways to overcome that. It’s something — the psychological battle of getting our guys in the right situations so they can be successful.

Murphy has been bothered by a sore shoulder throughout most of the season while Roberson has a sprained ankle. Muschamp expects both to play Saturday.

“I certainly think [the amount of injuries] has had its effect,” Muschamp said. “But we’ve got to find ways to get it right.”

The Gators and Gamecocks will kickoff at 7:00 pm EST and the game is on ESPN2.
