It has just been over a week since Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak suffered a mini-stroke, but he is already returning to the team facilities. Of course, Kubiak will not yet be taking on a full work load, but his presence at the facility should be welcomed less than 24 hours after one of his team’s veterans said the Texans were out-coached by the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Kubiak returned to the team facility today, but he will not be working a full day.

Last week, Kubiak visited the team’s practice, so he is slowly working himself back into the mix.

Without Kubiak, the Texans offense has been less than stellar, which is expected when you lose your play-caller. To be fair, the offense isn’t the only problem for the Texans, but they hope to get things sorted out when Kubiak returns in full.

They are currently on the outside looking in for the AFC Wild Card, but if they can turn things around quickly and put together a strong final run to end the season they could find themselves right in the mix.
