The Green Bay Packers shouldn’t feel comfortable with their backup quarterback situation right now. Free agent Matt Flynn was scheduled to work out for the Packers Monday after Seneca Wallace was injured during Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and the team is unsure if he’ll be healthy enough to serve as Scott Tolzien’s backup in Week 11.
It looks like they’ll be kicking the tires on John Skelton as well:
Interesting turn in the #Packers QB world: John Skelton is heading up there for a workout, per source. Matt Flynn worked out earlier today

Skelton has plenty of starting experience, having started 17 games for the Arizona Cardinals during the last three seasons and has a 63.0 passer rating. Skelton was part of the Cincinnati Bengals final wave of cuts after Josh Johnson beat Skeleton out to back up Andy Dalton to start the season.
Selton previously signed with the San Francisco 49ers but was eventually cut, and he had previously gotten a workout with the Tennessee Titans.
This comes just one week after Aaron Rodgers broke his collar bone. Tolzien has been named the starter for Sunday against the New York Giants.
