We will find out a lot more about the SEC East after Saturday’s slate of games.
The Missouri Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks and Georgia Bulldogs are all still in the mix to earn a trip to Atlanta where they would like meet the winner of the November 30th matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers.
Missouri has an edge, having lost just one conference games while both Georgia and South Carolina have lost two. Each team has beaten each other – Georgia defeated South Carolina, South Carolina defeated Missouri and Missouri defeated Georgia.
Georgia lost to Vanderbilt and while South Carolina was defeated by Tennessee.
Should Missouri win their last two games against the Ole Miss Rebels and Texas A&M Aggies after a bye this week, they will win the East.
Obviously, those are two tough matchups for the Tigers so both the Bulldogs and Gamecocks still have hope.

The Gamecocks host the Florida Gators Saturday night at 7:00 pm EST on ESPN2 while the Bulldogs will be at the Auburn Tigers at 3:30 pm EST on CBS. The Gamecocks wrap up conference play this weekend. Georgia finishes their conference slate on November 23 when they host the Kentucky Wildcats.
