According to Jacksonville Jaguars beat writer Ryan O’Hallaran of the Florida-Times Union, Jaguars linebacker LaRoy Reynolds has been suspended for the violating the league’s policy regarding performance enhancing drugs.  The result is that the former University of Virginia Cavalier signed as an undrafted free agent has been suspended for four games as prescribed by league rules.

The details as to what Reynolds had taken to come back with a failed test or whether or not he will ultimately attempt to appeal the suspension are unclear at this point.  Reynolds is a 6’1″ 243lb rookie trying to find a home with a team in the NFL and this probably hurts his chances of accomplishing that goal, but he will have his opportunity to make his case.  To this point, he had recorded just 6 solo tackles in his brief career.

The Jaguars are coming off of their first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans which brought them to 1-8 and looking to make it two in a row as they prepare to take on the Arizona Cardinals at home this week.
