The Pacers are 8-0. They are clearly the best team in the league, and they are getting contributions from everyone on that roster. Paul George continues to look like a future superstar, Roy Hibbert is the defensive player of the year, and their bench is much improved. Another reason they are 8-0 is Lance Stephenson.

Stephenson is having a career year, and it was topped off on Monday night, when Stephenson had a triple double. He finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists on the day before 11/12/13 came around. He did this all with one of the best perimeter defenders in Tony Allen on him. Stephenson’s play probably means that Danny Granger could be moved, and they may have found another piece to add to their future. Stephenson can still be out of control at times, but he is starting to round into a great player. They are trying him at point guard during small stretches, and it creates a lot of issues for their opponents.
