Michael Bisping would be a great opponent for Tim Kennedy

Fresh off of his impressive knockout win over Rafael Natal, Tim Kennedy is ready to move up the middleweight rankings and there is one opponent who could help him toward contender status.

“TUF” and top 10 middleweight Michael “The Count” Bisping would be a good adversary Kennedy. Fighting The Count could help Kennedy make it to the next level of competition.

After his win, Kennedy tweeted Bisping that read “Keep your one good eye on me and keep the other one healthy.”

Bisping did not say no, though he did tell Kennedy to call the UFC and demand the fight. The Count is expected to make a recovery in March, to which Kennedy told the British fighter to wait for him until then.

As for the fight itself, it looks fairly close. I would give Bisping the edge in striking while Kennedy has the advantage when it comes to the ground. Although The Count has more experience, Kennedy appears to be improving.

Bisping vs. Kennedy would be a winning situation for both fighters. While a victory for Kennedy would move him up the middleweight ladder while a victory for Bisping would get him back on track toward a shot at the middleweight title.
