The Texas A&M Aggies are enjoying yet another successful season in 2013. They’re going to enjoy a bye week this week after beating Mississippi State this past weekend. Next Saturday, they’ll take on the LSU Tigers in Death Valley to see if they can improve their record to 9-2 on the year.
Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies are in the midst of quite the two-year run. It’s more impressive when to think back to how the program was chuckled at when they moved to the SEC before last year. No one really thought they’d succeed, but the combination of Sumlin, QB Johnny Manziel and a host of others have proven the doubters wrong.
But, make no mistake about one thing. These guys have worked hard to be as successful as they’ve been, not only last year, but this year as well.
So, with the free time available this week, Sumlin decided that he’d give his players the day off this Saturday from practice. The reaction from that players, and him too for that matter, is priceless:
Definitely some well-deserved time off for the Aggies as they look to complete their second consecutive, double-digit win season.
