The Unbeatens: #14 Fresno State Bulldogs

The folks at Bovada and Prediction Machine have been kind off to send over their schedule simulations for the six remaining unbeaten teams in college football.

Next up, the 14th-ranked Fresno State Bulldogs.

Fresno State Bulldogs

Current Power Rank: 40
Current Strength-of-Schedule Rank: 114
Games Remaining: 3 (with conference championship)
Undefeated Chances: 67.6%
Closest Remaining Game: MWC Championship

If you are from a non automatic qualifying conference, you must finish ranked in the top 12 or be in the top 16, but ahead of a conference champion from an automatic qualifying conference. Since the Central Florida Golden Knights are likely to win the American Athletic Conference and are currently ranked 17 in the BCS, behind both Fresno State and the Northern Illinois Huskies, that certainly could happen.

Prediction Machine obviously values Fresno State above the Huskies and if the bowls agree, they could earn a BCS bid. If all of the teams remain unbeaten, a bowl likely the Fiesta Bowl, will select between the two.

The Bulldogs finish the season like this:

November 23 vs. New Mexico, 4:00 pm EST, ESPNews
November 29 at San Jose State, 3:30 pm EST, CBS Sports

They’ll also play in the MWC championship, like against either Utah State or Boise State.
