After the San Francisco 49ers lost to the Indianapolis Colts in September, quarterback Colin Kaepernick turned to Twitter for some motivation. He went through favoriting Tweets negative in nature directed towards him.

On Sunday, the 49ers lost to the Carolina Panthers following a 5-game win streak since that loss to the Colts. Kaepernick didn’t play well, he completed 11 of 22 passes for 91 yards and one interception to end the game. He was also sacked six times.

So Kaepernick is returning to the routine that might have helped sparked a five game win streak, he is favoriting nasty tweets on Twitter again. So far he has only favorited four tweets, but he could look for more as the week goes on.

“It’s something that I do for me,” Kaepernick said, via quotes distributed by the team back in September.  “It helps me.”
