While he may not have out-shined his counterpart, Jabari Parker, in the box score, we were certainly treated tonight to just how good Kansas Jayhawks freshman Andrew Wiggins really is. And, in a much scarier thought, how good he’s still going to get.
Wiggins finished the game with 22 points as his fifth-ranked squad was able to take down the fourth-ranked Blue Devils, 94-83.
The last two points of those 22, though, really showcased what this young man can really do.
With just under two minutes to go in the game, Wiggins got the ball on a fast break and threw down a monster dunk, that all but put the Blue Devils away in this one and sealed the game for Kansas:
With Parker trailing right behind him and failing at the block, it was a fitting end to one of the most heavily-hyped, early-season showdowns in recent memory.
Right after that dunk, Miami Heat star LeBron James tweeted out exactly what all of us were thinking as we watched the events of this game unfold.

You’re not kidding there, Bron. Say hello to your future opponents on the court.
