Dirk Nowitzki passes Jerry West on all-time scoring list

Dirk Nowitzki added to his legacy on Tuesday night, as he passed Jerry West for 16th on the all-time scoring list. Nowitzki now has 25,197 points in his career, and he added 19 last night.

Nowitzki is no doubt the best player to come out of Europe in NBA history, and he is one of the greatest all-time. Nowitzki has one of the rarest skill sets in the history of basketball. He is a 7 footer who can shoot like a guard, he can rebound well, and he is almost impossible to stop. The Mavericks almost took Paul Pierce back in the day, but I’m sure they’re glad they drafted Nowitzki instead.

Congratulations to Dirk, and you can expect him to climb up the list before it’s all said and done.
