Referee Joey Crawford nearly ejected the ball boy (Video)

There was an interesting scene last night in the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers were setting up to make an inbounds pass when Lavoy Allen noticed some liquid on the ground. You can see Allen step to the side away from Crawford to avoid it and points it out.

Crawford then blows his whistle repeatedly to try and get the ball boys attention and you can hear him yelling “here!” The ball boy comes over with the mop and moves it around a bit. Crawford wasn’t satisfied followed him away and blew the whistle again. He then called for two more ball boys to come over with towels and wipe it up. He stared down the ball boy for a while as well.

The crowd booed Crawford and the announcers joked that they thought he was going to eject him.

What do you think? Did Crawford go too far? Sound off in the comments.
